Dismissing the Fact of Genocide Against Christians is Insensitive, Will Hinder Solutions - Aworawo
Both the Nigerian and American governments should approach this issue with sincerity and candour.
Body
What I expect from both the Nigerian and American governments is an approach to this issue characterised by sincerity and candour. The Nigerian government's insistence that there is no genocide occurring in Nigeria is not entirely accurate. However, the government is not directly responsible for the genocide against Nigerians; rather, it is non-state actors whom the government opposes that carry out these atrocities.
